Our First Christmas!

Mike and I just celebrated our first Christmas as Mr. and Mrs. West. We went to my mom's for Christmas and had an amazing time. Mike got a new laptop for Christmas and I got a diamond necklace. I'd say we spoiled each other. We had to leave early to brave the winter storms and get back to SLC so we could leave the following day to go to Vegas. A crazy friend of ours decided to get married the day after Christmas...DENNIS!!! We had a fabulous time! Dennis and Kami got married in the Vegas temple and it was an amazing ceremony. They began dating shortly after Mike and I and are the perfect couple. The reception was the following day in Alamo, Nevada. Who in the world would choose to live in Alamo??? We took a couple of Mike's friends with us. Let's just say after 3 days of Mike and his friends, I've had enough testosterone to last me a while. We stayed with our sister and brother in law, Sabrina and Eric. It was a lot of fun spending some time with them and their adoreable baby Afton. I think Mike and I are her favorite aunt and uncle ;) We had a great time and Mike and I are looking forward to enjoying some quality time together before school starts up again for both of us. Mike did well his first semester at the U and is looking forward to Calculus and Architectural Design next semester. We're still trying to decide how to spend our first New Year's together...
