Our New House...Hopefully!!!

It's been two months and we STILL haven't heard any word on our other house. So we decided to take our search to Lehi, and we did it at a GREAT time! A bunch of newer houses dropped their prices just this week. We thought we knew just what house we wanted, then we found out there were two offers put on it last night. Well, once we got inside, we weren't too impressed anyway. I really was getting discouraged. We went to the next house, which seemed too good to be true. I had set myself up to see something majorly wrong with it. But...NOTHING. It was EXACTLY what we were looking for and had a lot of the extras we were hoping for. It has vaulted ceilings, an open floor plan, a nice fenced in back yard, a master bath with a large jetted tub, three good sized rooms, three baths, big kitchen with a bar, bay windows, and it includes pretty much all of the appliances! It was built in 1995, has great flooring and a sprinkler system outside. Of course it is a short sale, BUT the great news is this: Someone had already made an offer on this house months ago, but got tired of waiting for the short sale offer to go through. They went and found another house. Well, their price was finally approved from the bank so the bank said if we offered the amount that the last buyers offered, it's a done deal. SO WE DID!!!! There were no other offers on the home. We should know in less than 7 days if it really is a done deal. We're praying and have our fingers crossed for extra good luck. We just turned in our 60 day notice at our apartment, so this would be perfect timing. We could move in by mid-June and not have to pay our first month's rest until July. PERFECT!!! Now, the drive to Lehi is a long one, but that is a sacrifice Mike and I are willing to make to live in such a nice home in such a nice community. We'll be a mile from Utah Lake, less than a mile away from great parks, the church house is in our back yard, the elementary school is yards away down the street, and shopping is also about a mile away. I'm pretty excited! So, cross your fingers and pray for us!!!

I love it I hope all will work out for you. I can not believe that we are old enough to be home owners.
