So I was hoping to blog about my wonderful Christmas, but never had the time this month. A friend informed me today, it was time to move on... Christmas has come and gone, and there is always next year. However, I did want to share some of my crafts I've worked on lately. I've been blog stalking a lot of craft blogs over the past couple of months, and made a long list of things I wanted to make. I decided to make a lot of gifts for Christmas this year. I sort of hated myself for doing it because it caused me a lot of stress to get them all done before Christmas. However, I'm glad I did because it MADE me craft. I wouldn't do crafts if I left it all up to my "free time" (I don't have any). But when it became part of my important To Do List, it got done. And I had a lot of fun. Here are some of the things I've done lately. I'm just an amateur, but I have fun.
I made a cool skateboard frame for my brother who is amazing at skateboarding. I photoshopped the picture to make it look all cool too.
I made some fun sets of Book of Mormons and notebooks for several friends and family members. Sometimes you don't want to carry around your quad, especially in suitcases when you travel, so I covered BOM's and notebooks with cute scrapbook paper and modge podge and added some finishing touches.

I made a key hanger for my dad's shop to use to hang all of the keys of the cars he works on.
I made dozens of little frames with Christmas paper for neighbors, friends and coworkers. Kinda fun!
I made a couple of sets of coasters for friends and family members made out of tiles, cute scrapbook paper, and cork.

I tied a fleece quilt for my mom. She has a ton of cute teacher decorations just stored in her room until she gets a classroom. I told her it was time she displayed them in her bedroom for her to love and admire every day! So I wanted to make a blanket for her bed that would tie in all of her school stuff. I got enough fabric to make a king size tie-quilt. It took about 14 hours to make, and I had 6-7 hours of help from Mike too!! I want to add more to it because it didn't quite go to the floor like I had hoped, but it looked amazing!
