For Spring Break, I didn't go on vacation or on a cruise. I didn't do anything extravagant. I did get a lot of things crossed off my to do list, and had some fun as well. I've been able to rediscover my identity as Tristin and forget Senora West for a while. And I even have a couple of more days to enjoy. :)
Mike and I went to a Grizzly game with some friends. It was a BLAST! We even hit the ice afterwards, as a result of some coaxing and coaching from a seven year old.
My beatiful sister-in-law went through the temple last weekend in Manti. She's getting married in two weeks. This is a gorgeous temple!!!
We also had a bridal shower for Vickie. Of course it was my sisterly duty to get her something sexy.
The whole West family got together for the evening. Gotta love family!
While in Gunnison, I've been making it a tradition to visit a small store called Timeless Traditions. It has the cutest home decor. I bought a couple of things, as I always do.

I finally got around to getting some Easter decorations. It's a start :)
Most of the week I have been working on the house. We moved in quickly and I wasn't completely happy with how things were. I completely rearranged furniture and decor in a couple of my rooms. I finally caved and let Mike use the basement as the music room. It was inevitibly becoming so anyway. Just wait until I get the gorgeous artwork I ordered to put on the basement wall! I'll definitely post pictures. I ordered it this week and it should be done in about two weeks. I can't wait!!

The last room in the house that needs putting together is the guest bedroom. I finally came up with a color scheme and moved the furniture around. I'm hoping to get some painting done this weekend. I made these decorations for the wall and bought these decorative pillows. They turned out awesome!
Vickie hasn't seen these yet, but I made these frames for her wedding. Her colors are purple and green. I love making these frames, and I heard she needed some as decorations for her wedding. I hope she likes them!
Mike's Spring Break was last week, which really sucks! But we have still managed to spend a lot of time together over the past couple of weeks. I honestly adore my hubby! While I was in the spring cleaning spirit, I came across a lot of old pictures, poetry, journals, etc. It reminded me of different people who have come in and out of my life. I read poems I wrote about past heartaches and heartbreaks. I even read a funny poem about a boy I slapped in the face! Don't worry, he deserved it! haha It really made me appreciate the man I married. I am so incredibly lucky to find a person who makes me laugh everday and cares so much about my happiness. Although we aren't able to take off on a jet plane or a cruise ship during spring break, we are definitely enjoying each other's company and falling even more in love.

Very nice! We're sad to miss you this weekend. Steve just barely told me you'd be gone to Houston! I think Mikey is excited to play hostess! Travel safe! We'll miss you.
